I had lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty surgery on June 9, and today is day 1!
I was always really concerned that my impression looked strong and cold, and ever since I was young, when I looked sideways with only my pupils, the flesh blocked my eye so only half of the iris was visible. That was such a complex for me, so I decided to get surgery.
The consultation waiting time was shorter than I expected, and I really liked that the consultant saw me right away. The consultant also guided me kindly, like an older sister, so I was satisfied.
Also, I felt reassured because the director explained the surgical method to me again in detail.
The pain was not severe, and I did not have eye dryness or conjunctival pain. Right after surgery, my eyes would not focus and I could not see well, so I was afraid those symptoms might continue, but they disappeared within an hour.
The pain is not severe, but since today is day 1, it is quite swollenㅠ Since it is eye surgery, I went into it knowing there would be some discomfort, so it was not as uncomfortable or painful as I expected.
The swelling is still severe, so my eyes do look very much like sanpaku eyes, but after the swelling goes down, I am hoping the blocked outer corners of my eyes will look a bit more opened.
