First, my situation is that I have a hump nose and bulbous nose, and my nose would need osteotomy too for it to look pretty. I said I absolutely would not use an implant. I absolutely hate a flashy look and definitely want it to look natural. I went for consultations together with an acquaintance. 1. ㅈㅇㅈ During the consultation with the consultant, they asked when I planned to have surgery, and when I said December, the hospital switched me to a different doctor right before the consultation because the doctor I had selected when making the appointment was only working until November. They said my septal cartilage is small, so I would need donated costal cartilage. When I asked if ear cartilage could be used, they said no. The surgery would be under general anesthesia. Even if I used ear cartilage instead of donated costal cartilage, sleep sedation would not be possible because of the osteotomy. I didn't like it, so I left without doing the final consultation with the consultant. 2. ㄴㄴ All the staff were kind. The consultation was very detailed, and here they said that although my septal cartilage is small, it would be possible with ear cartilage instead of costal cartilage. The surgery would be under sleep sedation. We also decided to do osteotomy. With the exam-taker discount + accompanying consultation discount, the price was 3.5 million won for the nose and 1.2 million won for under-eye fat repositioning (I also had an under-eye fat repositioning consultation here). They said I had to put down a 100,000 won deposit to get that price, so I paid the deposit. They said the deposit is 100% refundable. 3. ㅇㅇㅂ The staff here were kind too. The consultation was very detailed. Here too, they said my septal cartilage is small, so I would need costal cartilage. When I asked if ear cartilage was absolutely impossible, they said ear cartilage is possible, but it would not fully achieve the nose I want and the improvement of the bulbous nose would probably be lacking, so they did not recommend it. We decided to do osteotomy too, and the price, on the condition that I write a total of 6 reviews on ㅂㅂㅌ and ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, was 4 million won if using autologous costal cartilage and 3.3 million won if using ear cartilage. If using autologous costal cartilage, it would be general anesthesia; if using ear cartilage, sleep sedation. Since I didn't want to use costal cartilage and was hesitating, the consultant told me to think about it more and contact them. No mention of a deposit. For my acquaintance, they recommended silicone + septal cartilage + donated costal cartilage at ㅈㅇㅈ, silicone + septal cartilage at ㄴㄴ, and silicone + septal cartilage + costal cartilage at ㅇㅇㅂ. Since he is male, silicone really was essential for my acquaintance's nose. For now, all three places said my septal cartilage is too small, so I think it really is small I don't know whether ㄴㄴ saying it could be done with just septal cartilage + ear cartilage means it is possible because they would remove the septal cartilage aggressively, or whether it is possible because they are genuinely skilled... At ㅇㅇㅂ, they said it absolutely could not be done with septal cartilage + ear cartilage I still have a consultation next week, so I'm going to go and then decide! If you have questions, leave a comment and I'll answer.

호야이야 Thanks for posting the review! Which doctor did you have the consultation with at ㅇㅇㅂ?
지구47 [@호야이야] Dr. ㅈㄱㅅ!
예슬이꺼에욤 You only really know the septal cartilage after opening it up, but most people do have enough septal cartilage for nose surgery, so it should be possible. It’s not always costal cartilage no matter what. I’m thinking ㄴㄴ assessed it conscientiously.
지구47 [@예슬이꺼에욤] But ㄴㄴ also did say it was really small...
쪼유쪼유쪼아 Could you maybe share the prices for ㄴㄴ and ㅇㅇㅂ?? I’m making a list because I’m also planning to get nose consultations, so I want to hear different experiences before I go

I had my first nose surgery about 2 years ago, when I was 20. At the time, the consultant kept recommending silicone, saying it absolutely had to be inserted for it to look pretty, so I just trusted her and had it put in. Back then, I…

I went for a rhinoplasty revision consultation with Director Kim a few years ago. Because it was a two-jaw-surgery nose, the cost would be expensive, but since I went a few years ago, I think it was that price. The price was from a few…

Before the consultation, I thought I could just raise the nasal tip with septal cartilage or ear cartilage, so I went in thinking it would be around 4 million won. But after getting a CT scan, even I could see that my septum is naturally…
