After surgery, from the day after I was told swelling should be reduced in 3 days, I rode a bicycle for 2 hours on day 2 and 1 hour on days 3–4. Is this a big problem? The day after surgery I also got forehead Botox, and I did warm compresses directly on my eyes and pressed hard. So I keep wondering if it might be making my eyes look misaligned/uneven… If I do all that, is it wrong? If I exercise, could there be any problem? Is the only issue that swelling lasts too long? Right now the mild upper-lid droop between the eye and eyebrow seems a bit worse, and there is slight pain. I already had a tendency toward mild droop before.
익명 Before suture removal, cold compresses are best for reducing swelling, and warm compresses are better to do after about 5 days to a week. As for exercise, because it puts strain on the eye, causes irritation, and sweat is not good for it, it was advised to avoid. A light walk is okay, but not very intense exercise. If they told you not to do something, it’s better not to do it. I’m not sure about forehead Botox, but I think the doctor who performed it handled it. It probably isn’t a major issue, but to avoid stress if something goes wrong, it’s best to follow the early ‘don’t do’ instructions as much as possible.
