I’m currently a 23-year-old woman (born in 2003). I’m posting to celebrate 1,001 days since getting Two-Day LASEK at the ㅇㅇㅅㅌ ophthalmology clinic in Busan! My original vision was about -6.00 on the left and -5.45 on the right in contact lens prescription strength. Before surgery, I often wore colored contact lenses! Whenever I drank alcohol, my eyes got so dry that I absolutely couldn’t wear contacts the next dayㅜ And when I wore glasses, I looked too sloppy... Most of all, when I wore contacts, my dry eye syndrome was really severe. I thought, if I’m going to have dry eye syndrome whether I get surgery or not, I might as well at least gain better vision;; So even though I was young, I had the surgery! (They say the usually recommended age for vision correction surgery is after 25.) Right after surgery, my vision was 1.5 in both eyes, and now I think it’s around 0.8. Since I had surgery when I was young, I knew my eyes hadn’t fully finished growing. They say the reason vision correction surgery isn’t recommended at a young age is that if the eyes haven’t fully grown, vision fluctuates a lot, so there is a very high chance that vision will decrease after surgery. That’s exactly my case now! But in conclusion, I am <very satisfied!!!!>. I recommend it to everyone around me, and even if you’re young, I think it should be okay if you don’t look at your phone too much and take good care of your eyes haha Since it was my first surgery, I was extremely sensitive and looked up all the nearby hospitals and information about vision correction surgery. After being very selective, the hospital I chose was ㅇㅇㅅㅌ. I also visited several places in person, and each hospital seemed to have procedures they were especially good at. Among them, I was going to get Two-Day LASEK, so I chose ㅇㅇㅅㅌ. For something like SMILE LASIK, I don’t think I would recommend ㅇㅇㅅㅌ (I think there was once an issue). Anyway, even now, 3 years later, I’m still satisfied, and even if I went back to that time, I think I would get the same surgery at the same hospital! Everyone, regain your vision and be happy!
