I once took photos before and posted them in a surgery review, but even though the quality wasn't good because I took them with a phone camera, many people showed a lot of interest in my surgery review. August marks half a year since my surgery... It feels like it was too short. It feels like I had surgery just the day before yesterday, but it's already been half a year~~ It really went by in an instant. Last week, a friend said she wanted to get a consultation at the clinic where I had surgery, so I went to the clinic with her, and when I said the response to my photo review was really good, the clinic put my preoperative photos and progress photos taken that day onto a CD for me. So I'm posting a review again. By 'wide cheekbones and jaw,' I mean my cheekbones and jaw. I had been living without realizing my facial contour was unattractive, but after getting a consultation, I realized that with my previous facial contour, I couldn't have a pure and delicate image. So I thought I should get the surgery before the cold weather completely passed, and went ahead with it. For about the first 10 days, I couldn't even go outside and it was miserable, but once I could see the swelling gradually going down, from then on I felt better, and seeing myself change day by day made me feel ecstatic. I felt full even without eating and kept looking in the mirror again and again. For my cheekbones, I had minimal-incision endoscopic surgery (non-fixation), and for my jaw, I had V-line surgery, then had a little fat grafting done to the chin tip area. I was worried the fat grafting done on my chin would be absorbed, but fortunately it has remained just the right amount, so I'm happy.
