So as soon as I had a bit more time, I decided to get rhinoplasty. Since it was also my first time getting hospital consultations, it felt overwhelming, but after going to a few consultations, I got used to it pretty quickly lol My needs were a refined-to-glamorous straight-with-a-slight-curve line like Min Hyo-rin’s, and if possible, I wanted to use autologous costal cartilage so I wouldn’t have to worry about the nasal tip drooping. Among the hospitals I consulted at, the director at one clinic understood my needs pretty quickly, and the explanations were very detailed. I think it was nice that they even did a simulation to show how the line I wanted might come out. The surgery was under sedation, so honestly I blinked and it was over. I had been worried because I heard autologous costal cartilage can be somewhat painful, but for me it was tolerable. It wasn’t extremely painful or anything, just slightly uncomfortable! Even while I still had the splint on, I could feel that the contour had changed, so I think I slept poorly for a few days.. They say this is the excitement of a first surgery, and it was my first time feeling it.. lol Now I’m really satisfied, and these days whenever I go out, I definitely take photos lol My friends also tell me I look pretty every time we meet, so I think my self-esteem has gone up a lot? Isn’t this one of the positive effects of plastic surgery lol
