I’ll write a review of the clinics I visited here and there from last year through this year... There are more than I thought ㅠ It was a bit tiring... I was originally going to write anonymously, but I thought people might misunderstand me as a broker, so I’m just posting with my ID visible. If you look at my posts, some people will probably know I’ve been interested in facial contouring since last year! ㄴㄴ - This was my first facial contouring consultation, when I had no knowledge at all, so everything was just fascinating. But even though I had made a reservation, I had to wait almost 2 hours, which made me pretty annoyed. I showed the director photos of the look I wanted, and they confidently said that if I did the three procedures, I could get that kind of line. But it seemed like they do a very doll-like line, a flashy style, so I was a little conflicted. The consultation itself was pretty ordinary, and the director was kind, which was good, but the consultant was a bit not great. The price became way, way too cheap once the review discount was applied, so I felt a little uneasy. I paid a deposit, then withdrew it right away the next week. ㅂㄴㅂㄱ - Someone I know had eye surgery here and it turned out fine, so even though it was a different field, I put it on my list. The consultant and director were really nice... Even though I booked for the same day, the wait was short, so my impression improved. The director is quite direct. After looking at my face, they said I was pretty even without surgery. Still, when I asked whether there would definitely be improvement if I had surgery, they said yes. I have a slightly protruding mouth and asymmetry, and they said if that bothers me, I should get orthodontic treatment first before facial contouring, and then if I still want contouring, I can do it. ㄴㄴ - This was my first facial contouring consultation, when I had no knowledge at all, so everything was just fascinating. I have a slightly protruding mouth and asymmetry, and they said if that bothers me, I should get orthodontic treatment first before facial contouring, and then if I still want contouring, I can do it. Their reaction was fairly skeptical, but they explained the surgery well. But there were no review events or discounts at all, and the price was really expensive. It was the most expensive on my list. ㅇㄴ - I also went here with a reservation, but the wait was around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.... I was already completely exhausted. Maybe because the director was busy, they explained the surgery briefly. And rather than analyzing my face, it felt like they were focused on creating a pretty line, like “if we reduce here and cut there, it’ll look pretty,” more than on my concerns. They also seemed to want to add this and that, and the price they quoted was quite high, so I decided this wasn’t the place and only half-listened to the consultation. ㄷㅇㅇ - The wait here was also over an hour... But the consultant chatted with me well, so it was kind of fun while talking. Similar to the place above, maybe because the director was busy, they skipped explanations like the height of the nerve line and such. But they checked what my concerns were, and said that to improve them, it would probably be better to reduce the chin clearly with a T-osteotomy rather than a V-osteotomy. They said if I advanced the chin, right now I look babyish, but I would look a little more feminine and pretty. At the time, every other place only recommended V-osteotomy, so I let it go in one ear, but now that I’ve had chin filler and other clinics also recommend T-osteotomy, I wonder if the director had foresight.... Still, like ㄴㄴ, the price was too cheap, so I felt uneasy and excluded it from my final list. ㄴㅌ - This clinic was really my style. It was clean and the all-white design was my taste, so I liked it somewhat from the beginning. But the wait was over an hour, so I got a little irritated too. The consultant was kind, but they looked noticeably like they had had plastic surgery, so I became a little uneasy. I worried whether I would also end up looking obvious, but the director was very warm. Just like ㅂㄴㅂㄱ, they asked why I wanted facial contouring when I was already pretty without it. When I said I work in entertainment-related work, they said then if I did it properly, I would definitely become prettier, and explained the surgery. They said since I have a youthful face, we should only refine it slightly enough not to harm that. It was a fairly satisfying consultation. ㄴㅈㅎ - This had the shortest wait. The consultant was kind and also told me about orthodontic treatment. They clearly said what was impossible was impossible. Example) “Can the slightly indented part of my chin tip be improved?” - “A muscle-related issue may not be resolved with bone, but if we hold the muscle in place through the chin shape, such as with a T-osteotomy, it can make you less bothered by it than before.” Like that. I also asked about orthodontic treatment, and they said orthodontic treatment does not change the shape of the chin. Instead, if I get orthodontic treatment, how much the chin should be advanced will change, so they told me to go to a dentist first and get an answer, then come back. And the consultation with the director was reaaaally detailed. Other places are 20 or 30 minutes at most, but here it was almost 1 hour. To the point where I wanted to cut it off midway and run away.... They used a cotton swab or their hand to show me the line and said if they reduced my cheekbones and square jaw, this kind of line would come out, and I got so, so excited. I really liked it. But the price was higher than I expected, so for now I only took a business card. When I got home and searched, the reviews were completely divided, so I was very conflicted ㅠ And the director was a little scary... Kind of a sensitive-professor style... It reminded me of a professor at school who assigns harsh projects and sighs while looking at undergraduates who don’t understand, so I got a bit of PTSD..... ㅇㅍㅅㅌ - The staff were kind of unfriendly... I felt like an unwelcome guest who had come to a place I wasn’t supposed to come to... I didn’t feel very good, so I listened to the consultation roughly. The director also felt more like just Q&A rather than explaining the surgery. They told me to ask if I had questions. They didn’t show me other review photos either and just suddenly went like that, so I was a bit flustered. I just asked obvious questions, like sagging and side effects, and came out... Of all the places I consulted at, this one felt like the biggest waste of time. ㅇㄱㅇㅈㅅ - The clinic was smaller than I expected. The consultant felt friendly, like an older neighborhood sister. The director was handsome and a little funny too. The director told me to ask what I was curious about rather than explaining the surgical method. The difference from ㅇㅍㅅㅌ was that it didn’t feel like they weren’t talking because they were annoyed, but more like they were trying to match the client’s needs? (Just my personal impression.) The director said they tell patients to bring their own edited photos from different angles. Looking at those, even if it seems like 100% could be achieved, they say 90%, and if something can’t be done, they say it can’t be done. That made them seem somewhat trustworthy, but on the other hand, I got a little...... scared they might shave everything exactly as the patient asks. ㄷㅇ - Even though I made a reservation, I waited two hours. I was so exhausted that I considered leaving midway a hundred times, but I had paid a deposit, so I couldn’t leave. The consultation was done in a Q&A format about facial contouring. I don’t know if it was because they had just come from surgery, but the consultation felt very halfhearted, so the waiting time felt wasted and I felt a little bad too. The surgical method was the same three procedures + T-osteotomy or V-osteotomy that every other place had already mentioned, so there was nothing special. I just became someone who wasted the consultation fee. ㅅㄱ - I went here with some expectations, but I was disappointed. The consultant’s response wasn’t great, and the consultation was very halfhearted too. The director briefly explained the surgery and showed photos, but my reaction was just so-so. They only said things like, “If we shave it, it’ll look pretty,” and even when I asked questions, the response was calm and flat, so the consultation ended quickly. Maybe because I had already visited several clinics, or maybe this clinic just wasn’t a fit for me, but it didn’t meet my expectations, so I was a bit disappointed. (This is my personal opinion, so other people may not feel the same!) That’s about what I remember! I tried to write it briefly, but it ended up longer than I expected....... I’m thinking of fixing on one place among these that really gives me the right feeling and going there. If you’re curious about anything, leave a private comment.
