Review 1 Year and 6 Months After Forehead Lift

I wrote a 1-year review before, but I thought of more things, so I came back to write again. After another half year passed, my feelings and thoughts changed again. First, to start with the conclusion, I said back then that after the surgery I actually looked older, and after half a year this feels even more definite. Part of it is that I’ve gotten older during that time, but it’s also because the space between my eyes and eyebrows became too wide, and my eye hollows became deeper than I expected. Kind of like Suzy or Chaeyoung these days..... since eye hollows that I didn’t have before appeared, I look more mature. They gained an atmosphere, but I gained age. When you’re older, it would probably be an anti-aging surgery, but if you’re in your 30s or younger, please keep in mind that depending on your face, it can actually make you look older. And below is how my thoughts changed: before ---> after another half year Forehead became wider: soso -> soso It’s not that it doesn’t get wider. But it’s much better than right after surgery. Nose became longer: yes -> yes My thought on this hasn’t changed. Your nose becomes longer by as much as your eyebrows are raised. Double eyelid formed: no -> only on one side It kept coming and going, and then only one eye developed one. My asymmetry became even worse asymmetry. Somehow I think it’s because the degree to which both eyebrows were raised is different, but if I think about complaining and getting revision surgery..? I absolutely don’t want to, so I’m just going to live with it. Quickly returns to original state: no -> no My thought that I’ll probably age like this hasn’t changed. Sensation doesn’t return: soso -> no Half a year ago, I said 70% had returned, and now I think about 80% has returned. I still feel abnormal sensation, dull sensation at the crown of my head, and itchiness. At this speed, will it get better before I go into a coffin..? hehe I’m just living while adapting.. But considering my forehead feels dull, my eyebrows lift extremely well, so I think I’ll need Botox to prevent wrinkles. Forehead gained volume: yes -> no Once all the swelling goes down, it returns to the original forehead. Don’t expect it. It became exactly the same as before + once all the swelling went down, the eye hollows became very visible. Hair loss: soso -> yes There’s a bald patch at the surgical site, and it’s more noticeable than I thought. I thought I would accept it and get used to it as I lived, but this is the hardest thing to get used to. And maybe because scalp stress overlapped with aging, I developed hair loss. It’s hard to say this surgery 100% caused the hair loss as a side effect, since I’ve gotten older, but.... my hair volume dropped sharply mainly in the areas with dulled sensation, between my forehead and crown and at the sides of my hair. A year ago I thought, “It’ll grow back~,” but after a year and a half, it became, “Ah, I’m screwed, haha.” Ha........,,,,,,,,, hehe Because of that, my forehead feels even wider + I feel even older. If you ask whether I’d do it again if I went back to the past... I would do it again... but I also feel like I might decide after looking at my face back then again and seeing how I feel.... Anyway, I hope this helps with deciding on surgery!
