Before surgery, I had uneven eyes: one side had a double eyelid and the other side didn’t. Since I liked my current double-eyelid line, I asked whether it would be possible to operate on only one side, but I was told that doing so would make the asymmetry worse, so both sides had to be done. Other hospitals all said the same thing, and I strongly emphasized that the purpose of the double-eyelid surgery was not to create a double eyelid, but to correct the uneven eyes. The consultation with the director was ordinary and uneventful, without anything special, but I trusted the clinic and went ahead with surgery because someone I knew had done it there. But the result was sausage-like eyelids and uneven eyes. What I wanted was correction of the uneven eyes, but I even lost my old eyes, so I protested and requested aftercare. But they said their director is famous for drawing the line extremely well, and that I had to wait one month because the swelling needed to go down. A predictable script. When three months had passed, I protested again, but they said swelling goes down at different speeds for each person and that I had to wait six months before revision surgery would be possible. I received a discount for writing a review, but seeing that the hospital still hasn’t requested a review, it seems like they know this is a failed case. It has now been 9 months since the surgery date, and I still have sausage-like uneven eyes. I take photos of my eyes every day like I’ve developed a mental illness, but I don’t see any change, and people around me try to comfort me by saying I should wait more than a year. Even if I get revision surgery, I don’t plan to do it at this hospital
