Before surgery, my nose looked okay from the front, but the hump stood out in my side profile, so it always bothered me. As I got older, my confidence in my face dropped because of my nose, and it was a major source of stress for me. I told the doctor that I did not want my impression to change dramatically after nose surgery, and I am completely satisfied because my nasal line came out natural and the feel of my face stayed the same. After the surgery and once the swelling went down, I could clearly see the effect of the rhinoplasty. I feel like my impression has become much softer than before, and although it was not very visible in the pre-surgery photos, the hump that was there from the side is gone, so it feels like I have a softer impression. People seeing me for the first time after surgery also often tell me I’m handsome, and my confidence has really gone up!
