While going around for consultations, for the first time I was told they wanted to use autologous costal cartilage/donated costal cartilage. I’m also getting functional surgery, and they said my septal cartilage isn’t that large, so they’d use rib cartilage. I understand that much, but they said it would be a base 4.5 million + hump nose (extra fee) + nostril base/alar reduction (extra fee) + autologous costal cartilage 4.5 million + functional surgery 2.5 million. Has anyone spent over 10 million won on their first surgery..? No matter how I think about it, I don’t think my insurance would ever cover as much as 2.5 million for the functional part.. Is this normal..?
응똔22 For a first surgery, the price is way too high.. Usually first surgeries are probably around 4-6 million won..
