Finally!! I got buried sutures done today~~~ I’m very timid, so I wanted sedation anesthesia, but I just had local anesthesia insteadㅜㅜ I couldn’t sleep since dawn yesterday, so I only slept 4 hours and then went in for the surgeryㅠㅠ I heard that if you get sedation anesthesia, after the surgery starts you have to open and close your eyes repeatedly, and after sedation anesthesia you might receive the surgery in a somewhat dazed state... And since my surgery was in the morning, I thought I was sleepy just because of my mood, so I just chose local anesthesia It didn’t hurt as much as I expected and felt like the anesthetic injection they give at the dentist That kind of feeling??? To me it felt similar? But originally, about 30 minutes before going into surgery, they said they would apply anesthetic cream and wait, but when I went in and told the nurse I hadn’t been given any anesthetic cream, she said, “We don’t use it normally~~” and I was kind of......... shockedㅋㅋ... When I looked at the hospital consultation posts, they clearly said they apply anesthetic cream and wait~~~ Well, the anesthesia didn’t hurt as much as I expected, so I’m relieved...... but...... My eyes are uneven. The left is an out-fold and the right is a very faint in-fold, barely visible, so I used double-eyelid glue on the right and kept wearing that ㅜㅜ So I had both sides matched to out-folds and also removed a bit of fat, and had it done Since the left eye already had a double eyelid, maybe that’s why the left seems less swollen than the right.... Because it’s buried sutures, they said it’s dissolvable thread...??.. so there’s no need to remove stitches separately They told me to come back in a week They said I can wash my face after about 3 days, but I should probably be careful when washing my face too, right??? And in the precautions it said to use warm compresses after 4~5 days, but what should I use for warm compressesㅜㅜ? Please tell me, experienced people ><.. Thank you for readingㅜㅜ!
