5 years ago, I had medial epicanthoplasty with a partial-incision method. But maybe the stitches were not dissolvable, because over time something like suture threads became visible above my eyelid. I went to the hospital where I had the surgery, and they said it was visible because my eyelid was thin, and simply removed a few of them. After that, my double eyelid loosened a lot, so after much thought, I had revision surgery on December 4. But after the revision surgery, the swelling seems to be going down quickly, yet the sizes of my two eyes are different. If they are different because the swelling has not gone down yet, that would be a relief, but my left eye seems to have weaker opening strength than my right eye. The clinic told me to practice opening my eyes wide, but it feels like only the right side is getting strongly engaged. Is it possible to develop ptosis in only one eye? If it is ptosis, I’m wondering whether revision surgery can be done on only one side, and around when revision surgery would be possible. If anyone knows, please share information.
