I feel the consultant’s role is essential for having confidence in the doctor, but compared with consultants at other revision surgery clinics who immediately recognized my concern as soon as they saw me, the level of understanding was so different. The consultant didn’t have much appeal? knowledge? about this surgery, and was just in the role of scheduling the appointment, relaying my concerns, and conveying what the director said about the surgical method. I wanted to leave without seeing the director, but the director was kind, warm, and so, so nice However, the surgical method was not the direction I wanted. If it were my first surgery, maybe, but for my second surgery with extremely difficult eyes, I couldn’t picture the surgery.
