I got a long vacation from work, so I went ahead right away with the no-implant rhinoplasty I had been planning (for the nasal tip, septal cartilage and ear cartilage were used, and autologous dermis was used for the nasal bridge). The director’s surgery schedule happened to match as well, so even the timing worked out well. Right after surgery, I was uncomfortable because of the gauze and cotton packing, but after the cotton was removed the next day, the discomfort disappeared right away. I only had bruising and swelling until day 3, and after that I quickly returned to normal (as the hospital instructed, I did cold compresses and took many light walks). I am currently 1 month post-op, and my nose shape looks natural, the hump that had been my complex has improved, and it seems to be settling well into the shape I wanted. I really think I made the right decision by not putting it off and getting surgery from Director Kim Da-alm, and I am extremely satisfied. People around me have also been giving me a lot of compliments, so I have been spending my days in a good mood lately.
