Male rhinoplasty Day 1 review + why and how I ended up getting rhinoplasty First, I’m planning to post Day 1, Week 1, Month 1, and Month 6 updates for my rhinoplasty. The surgery I had was autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip + silicone for the nasal bridge + hump osteotomy + septal cartilage. I had sedation anesthesia and slept so well that I can’t fall asleep now, so I’m leaving a review. Like most men? I had never really thought about plastic surgery at all, but after ending a nearly 6-year relationship, I suddenly started wanting to get cosmetic surgery, so I wondered where I should get it done.. Personally, I think appearance goes face shape >> nose >> eyes >>>>> everything else, but two-jaw surgery is too major + I have to go to work, so I decided to do my nose and started looking for clinics. I got consultations at Beginning (private clinic) and ㄷㅇㅇ (large hospital), two total opposites, and I got the feeling that the director at Beginning seemed trustworthy.. (very subjective) As of now, 12 hours after surgery, I have no pain, and since the packing and splint haven’t been removed yet, I still don’t know the shape of my nose, but I hope I really like it. Nasal congestion 8/10, bearable enough (I’ve had packing put in before because of a nasal fracture, so I can tolerate it) Costal cartilage incision pain 8/10, more painful than expected. When I try to get up from lying in bed like usual, the pain is over 9, and when I take a deep breath, it throbs a little. Day 1 summary: aside from the nasal congestion and costal cartilage incision pain, I’m still not sure yet. I used 12 days of annual leave from work for rhinoplasty... I hope everyone’s rhinoplasty goes well~
