I’m finally writing a review^^ I’m a woman who is about to enter my late 20s. I finally said goodbye to the square jaw that had been with me for over 20 years. In the pre-op photo, my jaw looks more prominent because I lifted my chin a bit, right? lol My home is in the provinces, so I lived alone in Seoul for 4 years during college..ㅠㅠ And I studied like crazy. Fortunately, despite the tough job market, I found a good position and got employed.. People always told me that my impression looked too strong. And that I looked masculine....ㅜㅜ (I guess they live without looking in the mirror themselves..lol) Anyway, after starting working life and gradually getting older, I felt like it was time to get away from it, so I decided to have surgery. When I tried to get consultations, there were just so many plastic surgery clinics.. I looked into a few places, gathered information here and there, and got consultations at 3 places. A told me to only have square jaw surgery, and B said it would be effective if I did my cheekbones together. And C immediately recommended double jaw surgery... I’m not that financially comfortable.. I do have a slightly protruding lower jaw.. The director said I wouldn’t be 100% satisfied with square jaw surgery alone. But somehow that really hit home... So I cried and whined, asking them to at least do the square jaw first.. So in the end, I had up to stage 3 square jaw surgery. They performed mandibular angle osteotomy, and reduced the cortical bone and masseter muscle. This hospital classifies square jaw into 4 stages and performs surgery using the method most suitable for the patient.. On the first day of surgery, the swelling was huge.. They said there was a little bleeding.. The next day, I barely managed to be discharged with a blood drainage bag attached.. My mother found out about this and came straight to Seoul.. And I got scolded a lot.. Mom.. I want to become prettier too~~~ Shouldn’t I at least get married?? On the 3rd day after surgery, I went to the hospital with my swollen face and had the blood drainage bag removed. When I washed my hair for the first time in a while, I asked the nurse to scrub hard with her fingernails..lol It felt so refreshing,,, Now it has been 4 months and there’s no swelling at all.. But as expected, I should have had double jaw surgery.. Since the fundamental problem hasn’t been resolved, I don’t think there has been much change..ㅜㅜ If I still don’t get a boyfriend next year, I’ll have to get double jaw surgery~ Happy New Year~
