I had partial-incision double-eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty last year, plus an additional revision epicanthoplasty this summer, so I’ll list the combined cost of the two surgeries. I’m not uploading or showing photos * But I honestly don’t remember the exact amount for the first surgery. Anyway, it was in the mid-2 millions + 1.6 million for the revision epicanthoplasty.
Recovery from the first surgery was really fast, and the scar was not left as badly as I expected! But to be honest, the first time it did improve my impression, but the epicanthoplasty wasn’t enough, so I had it done once more. There was an additional fee for the epicanthoplasty! I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t do A/S for shape dissatisfaction and instead charged revision-surgery pricing, but that’s the hospital policy:) Anyway, for a year after the first surgery, I could rub my eyes comfortably and just went around with the inner corners looking a bit more open through makeup.
* Why did I get the expensive revision epicanthoplasty here even though I wasn’t satisfied with the first epicanthoplasty shape: the double-eyelid line and suturing were fantastic, and I also thought it was partly my fault for not properly explaining what I wanted when having the line designed, so I decided to trust the same place I trusted at first and go ahead with it.
As expected, recovery from the revision surgery was also really fast. Now it has healed naturally to match my own eyes. There is still some downward Mongolian fold, but I think that’s the limit of my original eyes (the director really leaves very little scarring and only performs the minimum necessary surgery. If they removed more of the epicanthal fold here, it could leave a lot of scarring, and since I also have plans for nose surgery, I think they adjusted it to match my proportions. Even before getting my nose done, I’m already very satisfied!)
These days my impression looks much better naturally, so I just go out without makeup. I hate artificial-looking results, so my personal satisfaction is at the absolute highest (I also sometimes get told my eyes are attractive, which makes me happy). For receipt proof, I’ll 대신 of the receipt I used when I paid the deposit for the revision epicanthoplasty on 6/13. I wasn’t planning to post a review, so I just threw it away•••!
I heard this is a famous place for noses, so I booked consultations with both Dr. Kim Se-young and Director Kim Jin-woo. If I end up doing it here, I’ll leave another review.
Conclusion: very short recovery, more expensive than other hospitals but not a bad price if you think of it as the cost of safety to avoid worrying about side effects. If you want natural eyes, don’t even ask twice, Dr. Kim Se-young
