Last Monday, the 7th, I had major facial work done, including my forehead, chin, and cheekbones. On the day of surgery, I was trembling so much... My hands were shaking, so the nurse unnies kept comforting me, saying it was okay... Honestly, when I lay down on the operating table, my whole body was shaking, so the anesthesiologist said they should hurry and anesthetize me. lol Even in the middle of that, I was thinking the anesthesiologist was handsome... hmm...^^;; When I woke up from general anesthesia, I thought, I’m alive, but my throat hurt so much that I could barely breathe.. Honestly, I had countless thoughts like, why did I do this and put myself through this suffering... I should have just lived as I was.. And I was so cold that my body was trembling.. My head felt so heavy and stuffy... I tried to call the nurse unnie, shouting with a mouth that wouldn’t open, but no one answered... I struggled for over an hour in the recovery room trying not to fall asleep, and then the nurse came and moved me to the inpatient room.. After that, I kept repeating sleeping and waking up. I had surgery around 11 in the morning, and when I saw the clock in the inpatient room, it was around 6... I just thought, so much time has passed. I just felt anxious, couldn’t breathe, felt stuffy, and didn’t know what to do, so around 9 I called a friend, held their hand tightly, and even cried. Even thinking about it now, that day was a day of darkness.. The nurse unnie said my friend could only stay until 11, so my friend left at 11, and I spent the day repeating sleeping and waking up again. The next day, it was a bit better.. But my throat still hurt so much, and I kept drooling.... Before discharge, they removed the blood drain from inside my mouth, gave me explanations, and I went to my friend’s house. My friend’s house is close to the plastic surgery clinic... My friend bought me porridge and took care of me, and I was so grateful... lol On the second day, my husband came, and we went to the hospital, where they removed the drain from my forehead, drained the collected fluid, and wrapped a bandage around my head. They removed the bandage on my chin... My husband was startled when he saw how I looked... From the second day to the fifth day, the swelling was at its absolute peak.. My mouth was full of swollen tissue like tripe, I was hungry but it was hard to open my mouth,.. The gargle smelled so awful... After being like that, even standing for a short time made me dizzy, break out in a cold sweat, and feel nauseated.. So on the fifth day, I ordered jajangmyeon, cut it into very tiny pieces, and slurped it down, and then I felt a little more alive... Now it has been one week since surgery, but I still have a lot of swelling... My forehead, maybe because the eyebrow area is swollen, protrudes and looks beast-like... There is still bruising under my eyes.. The swelling inside my mouth is still there too.. It seems like the swelling is going down slowly... I’m just anxious... wondering whether the surgery went well... I spent a lot of money on it, so what if it doesn’t turn out well.... What if s i d e e f f e c t s occur... Every single day, I look in the mirror and think this... Since I’m married, I’m also afraid my in-laws will find out... I still can’t lower my head, so I can’t do housework either... Only my husband is suffering... I really hope the results of the surgery come out well, so that the suffering now becomes worth it later...
