I had fat grafting yesterday on the 30th. I had it injected into my forehead, cheeks, chin, and face overall. My forehead and my cheeks and facial contour are a bit asymmetrical, so I think the doctor probably had a hard time placing the fat in my face. ㅎㅎ;;; Right after the surgery, I looked in the mirror and at first I looked completely like a giant baby ㅎ; my forehead was so swollen and my cheeks looked like they were about to burst, like a giant baby face shape ㅋㅋ. Then after some time passed, those giant-baby-like cheeks went down a little. It has been one day now, and more than my face, the area where the fat was taken from my thigh hurts even more ㅠㅠ.. But I think the doctor injected it very carefully, so once the swelling goes down a bit, I think it will look pretty ^^. But the donor site is no joke -_-; Am I just being overly dramatic? No, I don't think so..ㅡㅡ;; My thigh itself feels completely bruised, like I was beaten by someone... ugh!! I’m thinking of posting photos after about a week, once the swelling has gone down somewhat. By the way, I heard that after fat grafting you don't need to do any special compresses. I was told to use warm compresses after two days, or that it would also be okay to go to a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna).. How did you take care of yourselves after fat grafting? Please let me know~^^
