It’s true that I had monolid eyes, but for monolids, my eyes were on the bigger side So people around me often tried to talk me out of it They’d say my eyes didn’t look small even without doing it, so why do it, yeah They’d bring up female celebrities who are monolid icons, like Red Velvet’s Seulgi, ITZY’s Yeji, Kim Go-eun, and so on Saying things like monolids are attractive these days I heard that so many times I got sick of it, but plastic surgery is up to the person who wants it, you know..? And the eyes I wanted were eyes that originally had double eyelids, so I got double eyelid surgery.. haha I wanted to do it with the non-incisional buried-suture method, but there wasn’t even one place that recommended that for me.. Because my eyelids have a bit of fat, almost all of them said we should do a full incision But in my personal opinion, I felt like if I did an incision, I’d end up with sausage eyes So I wanted to avoid incision, and among them there was one place that suggested a partial incision, so I did it there..! Since I had a severe habit of opening my eyes with my forehead I already had some forehead wrinkles (lol) So I did ptosis correction together too. I set the line high, so honestly everyone around me notices But they say that when I close my eyes, the scar doesn’t show, so it came out very natural and well done When I originally had monolids, eye makeup didn’t suit me, so I didn’t really do it But after getting my eyes done, everything I want to do with makeup suits me, so I’m satisfied It took a while for the swelling to go down though ㅠㅠㅠ
