Review of lower lateral canthoplasty at the clinic (1 week post-op)

I started feeling like my eyes were getting smaller compared to my face, so I decided to get canthoplasty I had never thought about getting plastic surgery in my life, so with a nervous heart, after discussing it with my wife, I visited several hospitals. Because of the route for going back and forth for consultations, surgery, and follow-up visits, I looked around Sinsa and Apgujeong. I liked the first doctor I consulted with, so I decided on surgery right away. Since it was my first time, I was extremely scared and asked everything I was curious about, so I remember feeling embarrassed because the consultation became long and probably tiring In the end, I had lower lateral canthoplasty. My conjunctiva is naturally on the weak side, so I was worried about inflammation or swelling. But maybe because the doctor was skilled, there was almost no swelling or bruising, so I recovered comfortably. I usually recover slowly, so I worried it would be obvious and tried to cover it as much as possible with bangs or glasses, but neither my company nor my parents noticed at all. Even though it was an incision method and there were stitches at the outer corners of my eyes After a week, once the stitches were removed, it felt like it had been a very simple surgery, but my satisfaction is very high. It didn’t change me dramatically, but my eye shape feels more open? Early after surgery, my eyes looked pulled as if they were overcorrected, so it was a bit funny, but they gradually came back up and now look natural. Women probably know well about procedures like lateral canthoplasty and lowering canthoplasty, but for men it’s a really unfamiliar surgery, so I’m writing this hoping it helps any men who may be considering it haha
