I had a consultation today at HN Plastic Surgery in Gangnam. It’s a single-doctor clinic and a new clinic that hasn’t been open long, but I heard the director used to be at a hospital famous for eye surgery, so I went. 10 years ago, I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and over time my eyes subtly became asymmetrical, which was stressful. As soon as I went into the consultation, the director immediately showed me similar cases, how they were operated on, and whether they were successful. There were a lot of people whose eyes looked exactly like mine, so I felt trust first lol Since it’s a new clinic, I was worried whether they would also be good at revision eye surgery, but after seeing the successful cases(?), I suddenly became really interested from that point. Especially maybe because the director is really serious about symmetry? They caught very subtle differences well. They said the issue wasn’t the double eyelid line, but that one eye had weaker opening strength. They said I could get the symmetry matched just with ptosis correction, without needing to do anything else. Other clinics recommended canthoplasty or fat grafting too, but here they didn’t push any additional procedures, and it felt like they only perform exactly what’s needed, exactly where it’s needed. They pinpointed only the key points, so I was very satisfied with the consultation itself. I decided to get surgery here.
