I really liked my nose after the rhinoplasty, but at 8 months, pus built up in my nose.. I had 2.5 mm silicone inserted, and since I wore glasses around, I think the nose pads of my glasses put strong pressure on the bridge of my nose. I’ve had the silicone removed now, but fortunately I didn’t develop contracture, and my friends say it looks more natural than before, so I’m relieved. Since I removed the silicone, what’s left is the osteotomy on both sides of the nose and the nasal tip, but in the end, my nose still maintains a defined shape, so I’m satisfied.
