Finally had surgery today (low nose, sedation anesthesia, silicone + septal cartilage)

I was going to have surgery 2 years ago, but a fortune-telling/philosophy place said my facial physiognomy was good and stopped me, asking why I would ruin my face (^ㅇ^), so I couldn’t do it. Then I made up my mind again and got on the operating table. Before deciding, I had every possible thought, but I felt that at this rate I’d live my whole life with this complex, so I just went for it. I’ll write a few lines in case it helps even a little for those repeating the same worries. My nose had a low bridge, and the nasal tip was a slightly spread, bulbous style; a typical Asian low nose Fortunately, the doctor said it wasn’t a difficult nose to operate on, so I felt reassured and had the surgery. Now then, would you like to hear about the new experience I had today? I arrived at the hospital at 9:30. They prepared me for surgery for about 1 hour: I took off my underwear and changed into a patient gown, trimmed nasal hair, disinfected the nose, got antibiotics, heard the nurse’s explanation, consulted with the doctor again before surgery, went straight to the operating room, lay on the operating table, had my whole face down to the chest ribs disinfected several times, and they wrapped my hair and chest area in cloth several times. I realized, wow, this is a much bigger surgery than double-eyelid surgery. During sedation anesthesia (they said about 5 minutes), for a moment I forgot I was someone who had come for surgery. Should I say it felt like being hypnotized? The nurse said people usually have a lot of unpleasant dreams, but I had an artistic dream where everything around me changed in sequence into primary colors like Benetton colors, lol, like watching a piece of video art... After I was anesthetized, the doctor asked, “Can you see me?” and finally the surgery began. They incised the skin under the nose and separated the periosteum, and it felt like the nasal bone was being scraped with metal. I thought, ah, this must be the periosteum being separated... Next, while separating the septal cartilage, the doctor said it would hurt slightly, and I felt something being cut and removed from the center of my nose. I think they inserted the silicone too, and they seemed to devote most of the surgery to working on the nasal tip. It seems they tied the spread nasal tip and used septal cartilage to build a support column. Anyway, I felt they sutured the nasal tip several times and paid a lot of attention to it. The doctor said they were closing, then stitching.. surgery finished. That’s roughly the surgical process I experienced today. Because I had to breathe through my mouth, it was stuffy, and during the surgery I had phlegm, so they suctioned it a couple of times. Even after coming home, for 3–4 hours I was dizzy and nauseated from the anesthesia, so I couldn’t even eat properly. Now I’m doing cold compresses frequently, and sometimes blood mixed with fluid comes out of my nose. They said that’s normal.. The older friend who came to the hospital with me took photos and also got a consultation because she wants to have surgery, then we came home. I’ll post again next time with photos.
