Even when I lost weight, the center of my face looked wide, so looking chubby was basically a given. On top of that, my nasal septum was deviated to one side, so rhinitis, runny nose, and sneezing caused quite a lot of everyday discomfort. I always carried tissues in my bag. So I decided to get rhinoplasty that addressed both function + aesthetics, but it wasn’t easy to make up my mind to go through with surgery, so at first I tried a dissolvable-thread procedure. Then 1 year later, when it went back to its original appearance, I strongly felt that I needed to fix the bulbous nose. Thinking about it now, it’s a bit embarrassing, but anyway!! Since the clinic reassured me each time, I felt a bit better. It’s been about 2 years since the surgery. Now, with nose surgery + fat grafting to the forehead and anterior cheeks, my face has more dimension, so I like that I come out well in photos. And because the nose that used to look spread out became slimmer, my features also became more defined, and it still looks natural on my face. Another good thing is that I used to suffer every change of seasons, but now breathing through my nose has become comfortable. My rhinitis symptoms have almost disappeared. The frequent sore throat has also decreased a lot. Up until the first month, my nose was really high and pretty, but as the swelling went down, the nasal height lowered slightly. Still, it actually seems natural, like my original nose!!
