I had double eyelid surgery 3 years ago with the buried-suture method for an in-out line, and it turned out really well, so I’d been living very satisfied with it. But two days ago, I suddenly woke up and the double eyelid line on my left eye had come undone... It hasn’t completely come undone (I do still have a double eyelid), but compared with my right eye, the left side is no longer a clear in-out line and has become a very thin in-out line, almost like an inner double eyelid. I’m still satisfied with the current state, but if it ends up coming completely undone, I think I’ll have to consider revision surgery!!! When I looked up reviews for revision surgery after double eyelid loosening, some posts said it’s better to do both sides even if only one side came undone, while others said they only redid the side that came undone... Has anyone had revision surgery when only one double eyelid came undone? I’m curious whether you did both sides or only one side... and if you only did one side, whether there were any issues like the line turning out different.
po1884 Mine came undone on one side, so for my 2nd surgery I did both sides. But the same side came undone again, so I’m looking into a 3rd surgery, and as expected, during consultations they told me it’s better to do both sides together.
치킨무99 [@po1884] Oh wow, I see. I guess they do tend to recommend doing both sides if you’re going to do it... Could I ask what methods your first and second surgeries were? I’m curious whether they were buried-suture or incisional!
