For my first surgery, I had a combination of silicone and ear cartilage. First of all, the overall shape ended up being way too overdone. I had the surgery as soon as I became an adult, so I think my aesthetic sense was kind of terrible; It’s such an embarrassing past that I can’t even really look at photos from back then... lol Anyway, I lived like that, but as time passed, whether it was just in my head or not, I felt like my nasal tip was drooping, I also felt pain, and I started thinking the silicone seemed to be showing through, so I suddenly got scared and started looking into silicone removal. I kept lurking in this community and cafes, and in the end, I had it removed at ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ. The reason I chose this place was that it was a one-doctor clinic specializing in noses, and when I went for the consultation, the director spoke so honestly that it almost felt like a harsh reality check. Also, the post-op nose shape was close to the shape I wanted (a natural nose), so I had the surgery there. Oh, and it was seriously nice that they didn’t use cotton packing or a splint For the surgery, they removed the silicone and reinforced the nasal tip with septal cartilage. It’s been about a month, and I think it was successful, so I’m writing this post. Right now, I just think a natural-looking nose is the best.
