Nose Surgery Reviews

Day 13 after nose surgery, functional nose, photos included

Hi, I’m on day 13 after nose surgery. I found this place through YouTube. I learned about it after the surgery. Before surgery, I had rhinitis, and an acquaintance recommended it to me, saying that I could improve the look of my nose while also having surgery for rhinitis? So I looked into it, and a friend recommended Dr. Lee Geu-jin at ID Hospital, so I immediately made a consultation appointment. On the day of the appointment, I paid the deposit and set the surgery date, haha. But the wait time was quite long. I think I waited about 2 hours while meeting the consultation manager, and anyway, by the time I was getting tired, the doctor came and the consultation was very cool and short compared with how long I had waited. And he seemed very confident. Since I didn’t know him well, at first I thought, what is this? But in my opinion, it was probably because he was confident in his own surgical skill, haha. Everyone going for consultations, don’t misunderstand, haha. Back then I just thought, it’s a big hospital, so they’ll probably do a good job, right? lol I came home, searched YouTube, looked into side effects, and saw the various past incidents and accidents, and I got really anxious. I contacted my acquaintance several times to ask questions, and on the day of surgery I went in, filled out the forms, waited, and then entered the operating room. Two people who seemed like a nurse(?) or a doctor guided me kindly, and as soon as I lay down they marked the lines and anesthesia started immediately. But isn’t anesthesia normally administered by an anesthesiologist...? Just as I was thinking that, they said, “We’re starting anesthesia,” and I went under. When I opened my eyes, the surgery was over. I’m not trying to criticize anyone, but I’m posting an honest review because they didn’t explain this part, and I actually don’t know much about it haha. My nose was small, short, and had a bulbous tip, and I hadn’t planned on nose surgery, but I got tempted by what my acquaintance said. Since it’s a large hospital, they also seem to take aftercare seriously, and they have a separate care team. I think it’s a hospital that can respond in emergencies. There are quite a few things like that. So far I’m satisfied, and since I had rhinitis surgery, breathing is still a bit uncomfortable, so I looked inside my nose with a flashlight and the mucous membrane is still a little swollen. I wonder when that will go down, haha. I’m planning to go to a local ENT clinic next week! Also, before surgery, if you sign the CCTV consent form, you can review the footage after the surgery! I heard they usually show it on the day the stitches are removed. I filled out the consent form, but I thought they’d show it without me asking on the stitch-removal day, and then I found out you have to request it in advance? Don’t forget to ask! The photo was taken with the default camera, and people around me said it didn’t stand out much, but it looked really pretty! I think my image changed a little too haha. Everyone, make sure to research carefully before surgery!! I’m not good with words, so even if I’m rambling please understand
