So this time, we decided to use relatively safe autologous costal cartilage, which has less concern for deformation, and layer Megaderm over silicone to reduce the risk of translucency and contracture, and also proceeded with lowering the columella, correcting the nasolabial angle, and correcting the pinched nose shape. Above all, since this was my third surgery, truly more than anything, safety and having no side effects seemed the most important. Aside from the pain after harvesting the autologous costal cartilage, I did not have major discomfort. Nasal packing and that dull, heavy sensation I had already experienced before... Still, autologous costal cartilage did hurt more than other materials.. But as I watched my nose settling well according to my taste, I forgot the pain too... haha Since it was a clinic I went to through my older friend's recommendation, I thanked her separately several times.. She also said she was glad it turned out pretty, and a few acquaintances asked me to tell them, so I told them as well.
