(I wrote this after a question post in the nose-surgery board ^^:;; I thought it would be right to cut out the relevant part and post it here, so I’m putting it here -ㅁ-;;; If you’re curious about the previous post, you can go read it. ㅋㅋ ㅡㅡㅡ;;)
In July of last year, I went back to the hospital, had a consultation, and then got eye surgery -_-;;;; I went in, found my chart, said I was there for a consultation... then after waiting a long time because it was crowded... Met the manager? and the female staff member, then greeted the director (__) Director: Why are you here ㅡ_ㅡ??? Mom: I brought her because she kept begging me to get her eye surgery --; Director: Don’t you already have double eyelids?? Why surgery? Manager: It’s a revision surgery.? (Brief silence .... -'_-;;; ) Mom: She made that herself =ㅁ=;; She kept putting something on them in middle school -_-;;; (For reference, in 9th grade I got eyelid tape from other girls out of curiosity and tried it on. I liked it, so I learned how to apply it in a way that wouldn’t show, in my own way, lol, and wore it for about a year -_- Then it eventually became permanent. At that time it was similar to Jo In-seong’s double eyelids); Then various things were said back and forth, and while looking at the monitor I got explanations of the surgical methods and types... Then I took out a scrap file from my bag and showed it -_- grin... I said: I want to have surgery like this 'ㅁ' huff huff..;; Director: Wow... this is huge..? Back then I was obsessed with the Japanese actor Hideaki Takizawa -_-;;; I liked that celebrity so much -_-;;; Then the director kept flipping through the photos... Director: These eyes are different? Is this a different person? Me: No -ㅁ- they’re all the same person;; Director: Hmm, if we do it like this, it’ll look too obviously operated on.. If you look at Takizawa Hideaki’s photos, each set of eyes looks different. Some look sultry, some look clean. Director: This one is an outer fold and this one is an inner fold, but compared to this eye, that eye looks more natural and less obviously done, so let’s do the inner one.. Your eyes have a bit of excess flesh right now, so you need to lose some weight. If we do an incision, it’ll look obvious, so we should do a partial incision and cut about 3 mm to remove the fat..; Me: ㅠㅠ Right. Please get rid of some of the flesh around my eyes -_-ㅋ; Then after hearing various explanations, the director went into surgery... My mom, the manager, and I set the surgery date and heard about various things to prepare... I paid a deposit or something anyway and came back -_-;; A few days later I calmed myself down and went in for another consultation -_-;; Got detailed explanations, tried marking the double-eyelid line on my eyes, and various other things... Then I asked, Director, do you inject anesthesia into the eyes? ㅠㅠ That hurts, doesn’t it -_ㅠ.. Fortunately, it was sedation anesthesia, so it didn’t hurt at all -_-;; Honestly, the surgery itself didn’t hurt at all, but I could still feel the cutting and tying and all that.. Aaah!!!!!!!! Even now thinking about it ㅠㅠㅠ Anyway... that day’s memory of surgery ended like that, and before I knew it, a whole year has passed -_- Time really flies... -ㅠ-;;; The result? If I don’t look at old photos, people think I was born with double eyelids ho ㅋ If some kids at school try to give me trouble saying I got surgery -_-++ (they were in the same class) When nearby friends ask if it’s true, they say, look, doesn’t it seem like I had surgery? And everyone says no -_-;; ㅋㅋㅋ But one thing I regret is that when they asked me whether I wanted to do epicanthoplasty back then, I didn’t even know what that was and said no, which is kind of a shame.. I should have done it...;;; Still, I’m pretty satisfied. Anyway.. to everyone who will have surgery in the future, I hope you all get good results.. and achieve the pretty outcome you want. ㅋ-ㅁ- Then... that’s the end of my short little experience story (__)(--)(__) Thanks for listening all the way through ㅋ
