Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

I had my cheekbone and front chin pins removed at a facial contouring clinic!!

I’m a man in my 20s, and about a year and a half ago I had three-part facial contouring surgery at another hospital. I was satisfied with the surgical result, but the pins were still there, so I was in a situation where they needed to be removed. Pin removal is said to be a simple surgery, but since it is still a procedure related to the facial bones, I was careful in choosing a hospital. The reason I chose this facial contouring plastic surgery clinic instead of my original hospital was not only the reasonable price, but also because I had heard they had extensive experience with pin removal surgery, and during the consultation the director accurately assessed the state of my previous surgery and made a safe pin removal plan for me. I was also impressed that they consulted kindly without showing any discomfort at all, even though I had surgery at another hospital. The director used a CT scan to accurately check the current location and condition of the pins, and honestly explained the situations that could occur during the removal process. In particular, he said that men have higher bone density, so there are things that need to be considered, and I felt their professionalism from the way they checked even these detailed points. I was also reassured after hearing that if it was done under sedation anesthesia, I could undergo surgery comfortably. The pin removal surgery was performed under sedation anesthesia, so it was not painful at all. The surgery took about 1 hour, and it ended faster than I expected. Unlike how nervous I was before surgery, I was able to finish the procedure very comfortably. Compared with facial contouring surgery, which involves working with bone, I think the surgical difficulty, swelling, bruising, and level of pain were much easier. Right after surgery, the hospital provided very thorough swelling care (it was free!). They said recovery after pin removal is faster than after facial contouring surgery, and in reality there wasn’t much swelling and I returned to daily life quickly. What moved me most was that the director came in person after surgery to check my progress. He carefully checked whether the pins had been removed properly and whether there were any problems at the surgical site, and he also explained in detail what to be careful about during recovery. When I visited the hospital 1 week later, the director personally checked my condition again and reassured me, saying I was recovering faster than expected. Maybe because I’m a man, the swelling went down quickly, and from week 2 onward I had recovered to the point where it was barely noticeable. Now I’m at week 4, and the discomfort caused by the pins has completely disappeared. Previously, when I pressed certain areas, I had a feeling that I could feel the pins, and every time the seasons changed, there was a strange foreign-body sensation, but now I don’t feel it at all. My facial contour also feels more natural after pin removal, and psychologically I feel much more comfortable. I can exercise now without feeling burdened, and I especially like that I don’t have to worry even when doing intense exercise. - Overall Review - Although I had facial contouring surgery at another hospital, I really think it was a good decision to have the pin removal done at this clinic. Thanks to the director’s expertise and meticulous care, as well as the systematic postoperative management system, I was able to complete the surgery safely and with satisfaction. I recommend this facial contouring clinic to those considering pin removal, especially those who had facial contouring surgery at another hospital but want to receive only pin removal separately. I can confidently say it is a professional hospital that also considers patients carefully. I sincerely thank the director and staff!
