<before surgery (nose><after surgery (nose><before surgery (eyes><after surgery (eyes><before surgery (contouring><after surgery (contouring)>I hope many people see this and find it helpful, but I wasn't sure which room to post it in... For now... I'm copying it into eyes and contouring. Ever since I was young, my bone structure was somewhat developed, so my jaw was angular and my nose was low, which always bothered meㅜㅜ Dieting alone couldn't solve it... I also didn't like the eye surgery I had in college, so I got irritated every time I looked in the mirror.. Since I was working, I didn't have time to go around for in-person consultations, so I mainly did research through phone or chat consultations at well-reviewed hospitals.. Among them, 3 places caught my attention, and I ultimately decided on ㄱㄹ Plastic Surgery, and went in for a major remodel. My final choice, ㄱㄹ, was good first of all in how quick and kind the replies were even through chat or phone consultation! They listened to my needs first and suggested improvement plans, and it didn't feel like upselling. Even when I went for the hospital consultation, the desk staff were kind the entire time, and even though I kept asking the nurses the same questions annoyingly, they explained everything in detail each time. When I felt anxious, they arranged a consultation with the director too.. While going in for dressings and checkups, a lot of the things I was anxious about settled down. Because I had many surgical areas, I consulted with three directors, and the surgery time took 8 hours. My family was extremely worried, but I was so excited!! The thrill of finally removing nearly 30 years' worth of complexes was huge. All three directors were kind, gave sufficient explanations, and suggested surgical methods and more effective treatment plans. Especially the contouring director explained in detail the surgical range and management methods suited to current trends and my face shape, so I trusted him. Since it was a major surgery, it covered almost my entire face, but broadly, I did eyes, nose, forehead, and contouring. I'll write the details below. Eyes - incisional ptosis correction (revision surgery) + canthoplasty (inner, upper) + lower eyelid fat repositioning Contouring - cheekbones + New V (long-curve square jaw) Forehead, nose - forehead reduction + basic nose (bridge-silicone / tip-ear cartilage, septal cartilage) + bulbous nose correction + nostril reduction + nasal tip extension + osteotomy + double chin liposuction and tying After finishing the long surgery, I was hospitalized for one day. That night, I think I lay there as if I had passed out, not knowing whether I was alive or what.. After the painkillers wore off and I was discharged the next day, a stiff aching pain slowly started. The swelling was like a balloon until day 3! Still, I seemed to be the type whose swelling goes down well and whose scars don't stand out much~ Maybe I was made for surgery hahaha Still, the pain, the taping all over my face, the lifting band, and the leg compression band were really hard.. Especially because I couldn't lie flat and had to sleep almost sitting up, my condition didn't improve and it was hard ㅠ Since I couldn't open my mouth either, I ate porridge with a syringe, and my lips and chin felt numb, so I think the first week was the hardest. Still, after removing the nose stitches and taking off the taping, breathing got a bit easier, and after lightly washing my face with water, I started looking human again. The blocked nose that I couldn't blow freely was another obstacle, though.. But I was so satisfied with the sharp nose bridge and slim nostrils I'd never had in my life. Really, the impression the nose gives is huge. As for my eyes, I revised the surgery that had failed back in college, and my eye shape became a bit more open, and my eyelid-opening strength improved too. I barely had bruising or red surgical marks, so I'm looking forward to it being stable after 3 months. My forehead was also wide, so I got a reduction this time. Because I have quite a lot of hair, it wasn't something that could be solved with a hairline procedure... The days when I always hid it with full bangs.. At first, I was very worried the scar would last a long time, but after stitch removal, it's healing so cleanly! Of course, at first I was also worried because my skin is sensitive and it might become keloid or inflamed, but my prognosis was good. Definitely made for surgery haha The director who did my nose also did my forehead, and the fact that he stitched so meticulously played a role too lol Now, if I just apply a little concealer before going out, it doesn't really show. This also seems like it will become more natural with more time. The long-awaited contouring! My square jaw and blunt chin-front line were especially my complexes. No matter how much weight I lost, they stayed the same and actually looked more prominent. I really hated the broad-looking feeling. Because it was bone-cutting surgery, my family opposed it strongly, and I also hesitated because of reviews about aftereffects, but I felt like if I didn't do it now, I would keep living with regret. Before surgery, the director explained everything in great detail, and even said it would be more tolerable than I expected, so I felt a bit less anxious.. For one week after surgery, there was pain, and since my jaw wouldn't open, nothing was easy, including eating and brushing my teeth. I slightly regretted it then, but from 2 weeks later, the swelling went down, and seeing the slimmer jawline made me so, so happy. The thrill that I could now take photos without an app was overwhelming lol It has still been a little under 2 months, so I need to wait longer, but even now my satisfaction is extremely high. Chewing movements and opening my mouth wider are still a bit difficult, but if your jawline or cheekbones keep bothering you like mine did, consider surgery!! Of course, it depends on the case, the person, and the hospital, and there are countless variables, but I hope everyone overcomes them well and cherishes the prettier version of themselves :D
