I had two-line double-eyelid surgery with ptosis correction. Is it possible to remove both the ptosis-correction sutures and the double-eyelid sutures within 2 weeks? If it is possible, what happens to the state of the eyes? They released the adhesion of the previous line and went in with a lower line, so would it just settle weakly as the lower line?? Could there also be hollowing of the eyes.. Please think of it as saving someone’s life, and if anyone here knows, please tell me
행복해질것 Two weeks goes by quickly, so rather than waiting for comments, I recommend talking to the clinic. If the original clinic won’t do it, I hear a lot of people go to Cheongju St. Mary’s for releasing ptosis correction.
차ㅊr [@행복해질것] When I said I wanted to undo the ptosis correction when getting the stitches removed, they said they could release it, but they scared me by saying I’d regret it, so I was wondering if anyone here is in the same situation as me
그랑동그랑 Why are you trying to undo it? You had revisional surgery with incisional two-line double eyelid + incisional ptosis correction, right? The stitches for the incisional two-line double eyelid have already been removed, and you’re saying you want to undo the ptosis correction?
차ㅊr [@그랑동그랑] It looks too intense and wide-eyed, and it hasn’t really gotten lower either, so I just wish it would completely come undone.. Doesn’t two-line surgery also have fixation sutures for the upper eyelid? Did yours turn out well?
그랑동그랑 [@차ㅊr] First of all, if you had two-line surgery, that means they released the adhesion of the existing line and made a new line..... Undoing an incisional double eyelid will probably be impossible (undoing an incisional double eyelid is such a high-risk surgery that it’s almost never done). I’ve also had an incision, so I understand wanting the double-eyelid line to come completely undone, but that’s almost impossible, so everyone lowers the line to be closer to an inner double eyelid or monolid... For ptosis correction, I do know a few clinics that release it, but if the ptosis correction and the incisional line use the same sutures, both will come undone completely; if not, I understand that only the ptosis correction is released in a recessed/relaxed sort of way. https://cafe.naver.com/luxury009/1223780
차ㅊr [@그랑동그랑] Oh wow, thank you! Actually there’s no functional problem, but I don’t like it aesthetically.. If I mess with it again for no reason, could my eyes become extremely difficult to fix?
그랑동그랑 [@차ㅊr] Hmm, but there are quite a lot of people who do it again because they don’t like it aesthetically too. For now, go get consultations at places like ㅁㅅㄹㅇ, ㅇㅇ1, ㄱㄴㅅㅇ, ㅊㅈㅎ and ask whether your eyes look like they can be operated on again. The doctors will know better.
차ㅊr [@그랑동그랑] So the clinic where you had it done advised against removing only the ptosis-correction sutures, right?
그랑동그랑 Hmm, ptosis correction itself is difficult to tolerate, so a lot of people get it released. If the clinic where you had it done says they’ll do it, I think it should be okay. Lowering the line and releasing the fixation are separate issues, and ptosis correction especially has a golden time window.
차ㅊr [@그랑동그랑] The clinic said they absolutely don’t recommend it.. They said if I really want it, I have to sign a pledge saying they won’t be responsible for any dissatisfaction after removing it
그랑동그랑 [@차ㅊr] Hmm, then for now I think it would be better to lean toward not doing it... Try to hurry and at least go for consultations at places like Suwon ㅊㅈㅎ, Gangnam Seoyeon ㅊㅈㅅㅁ, and ㅍㅇㅌ. At least decide whether or not to do early correction.
