An acquaintance introduced it to me. Someone I know had buried-suture double eyelid surgery at that hospital, and even after 10 years it hadn’t loosened and they were satisfied, and since it was a hospital they had recommended before, I had kept it in mind. After consulting with other hospitals and comparing, I trusted it because it’s a hospital where one director operates alone, and the consultation was kind and detailed. I had a history of failing at a factory-style hospital and then having it undone, so I liked a hospital with fewer people and not too much advertising. Also, Director Choi Jung-ho is very handsome and even kind! When I went after seeing the director’s eyes on YouTube, the eyes that had been monolids had subtly changed, so I asked, and he said he recently had buried-suture surgery done naturally well by the director at another Dio branch in Ansan, so it didn’t look like double eyelid surgery, which made me trust him more. Actually, I had several more hospitals scheduled for consultations the next day, but the consultation felt like a good fit, so I immediately put down a deposit, thought about it, and just scheduled the surgery date within 30 minutes. It’s now been 2 weeks since surgery, and although the swelling hasn’t fully gone down yet, many people around me say it looks natural and turned out well. Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I still think my old face was better and it looks strange, so my eyes feel unnatural to me, but I’m satisfied. One disappointing thing is that the staff didn’t send advance 안내 texts or contact me, so I had to reach out first, and even after surgery, although I received a paper on how to manage it, they didn’t really explain things in detail, so I contacted them first and took care of everything myself.
