Eye Re-Surgery

Share your one-month review and experience after epicanthoplasty restoration

I’ll write a one-month review after epicanthoplasty restoration surgery I’m a case where I had epicanthoplasty and the distance between my eyes became too close, so I got restoration surgery It’s almost been one month since the surgery, so I wanted to share my experience lol Only people interested in epicanthoplasty restoration surgery, please read - Before surgery Honestly, before surgery, I was really nervous The distance between my eyes had become too close, and I wondered whether it could really improve well with restoration surgery I was also curious how my eye size or shape would change after restoration But the director explained things well, so I think that reassured me somewhat - Anesthesia, pain The surgery ended faster than I expected lol The anesthesia worked well, so there wasn’t really any pain I didn’t experience anything like having to open my eyes during surgery - Recovery On the first day after surgery, there was some swelling and bruising Especially the outer corners of my eyes were quite swollen, and when I woke up in the morning, I think opening my eyes was a bit uncomfortable But that only lasted briefly; after about 2 days, a lot of the swelling went down And opening my eyes became comfortable too lol After about a week, most of the major swelling subsides, so it’s pretty okay The bruising also gets lighter over time, and for me, I think it took about 2 weeks - Current state Now, I’d say I’m almost fully recovered Of course there’s still some minor swelling left lol It just feels like things have settled to some extent? After epicanthoplasty, the distance between my eyes was so close I wanted to die But now the distance between my eyes is very appropriate and good They shaped the inner corners of my eyes to feel slightly rounded but pointed, so I’m very satisfied - Surgery tips I feel that aftercare is really important After surgery, I made sure to do both cold compresses and warm compresses I usually had a habit of opening my eyes very forcefully, and I had such a hard time trying not to do that lol And please please please don’t ask things like when you can drink alcohol after surgery or whether you can smoke Of course you shouldn’t do those for about a month? That’s right, yes You paid a lot of money for surgery, and you want to get inflammation because you can’t hold back for a little while... Please don’t do it For several days after restoration, you can’t see the result right away because of swelling and bruising, you know? Time is the answer, so don’t get anxious when even the major swelling hasn’t gone down yet.. promise.. I wrote down the things I felt after getting surgery, a bit all over the place, but I hope it helps I was scared because epicanthoplasty restoration has surprisingly many side-effect reviews But thankfully my surgery went well, so I’m satisfied lol When looking into hospitals, compare several places, and don’t do the things they tell you not to do, yeah
