For my first surgery 10 years ago, I only had a little silicone inserted in the nasal bridge. I decided on revision surgery because my side profile looked too flat in photos, so from the side it just didn’t look pretty. So for the revision, I didn’t want to be greedy. I just thought it would be nice to have a little more dimension when taking side-profile photos. I wanted it not to look obvious that I had surgery from the front, but for the line to look pretty from the side. The consultation overall was done with the idea of barely touching the nasal bridge and just slightly refining the nasal tip. But no matter how many hospitals I went to for consultations, they said that because my nose is small, they couldn’t make it into a refreshingly high nose lolololol I wasn’t even hoping for that, but since everyone said it like that, I felt a bit disappointed. For the surgery, I had the nasal bridge silicone replaced with a new one, and the nasal tip was raised a bit using only ear cartilage. As far as I know, they said there was no real need to use the septum. And since the middle area was a little wide, they said osteotomy would be needed to get a slim, pretty line, so I had osteotomy too. The swelling still hasn’t fully gone down, and I’m not good at taking photos, so the before and after doesn’t show that much. I had the surgery around the end of August, and the swelling is still going down. In the photos, my nose does look a little bent to the left, but I think it may look even more that way in photos because the lighting is on the right side + because of swelling. Now that I look at it, the front view looks completely the same in the photos lol But from the side, the line is subtly but definitely different, so I’m satisfied. I also have a pretty easygoing personality, so I’m satisfied, but how does it look?? Please tell me your opinions.
