[Consultation review] Has anyone had revision rhinoplasty at GYOS?

I just came back from a consultation for revision rhinoplasty at GYOS. It’s my second hospital since I recently developed silicone inflammation and contracture. Consultation fee: 30,000 won (probably because it’s a solo-doctor clinic) 1. Fill out a personal record sheet and questionnaire 2. Based on the questionnaire, organize in advance what to ask the manager and the doctor 3. Check the nose with the doctor using endoscopy and examine its condition (he really checks whether you understood, like a professor. I tried to stay sharp and answer properly I was nervous...) 4. Consultation with the doctor (what surgery to do / what materials to use) 5. Consultation with the manager (questions, surgery cost, etc.) First of all, the doctor doesn’t like vague explanations. You need to clearly tell him what you want, and then he explains things clearly. Just like other reviews, he explained my nasal condition with drawings and told me about the future surgical plan. He told me to speak up if I had any questions, but I was anxious because of the sudden contracture, so I couldn’t really say much Even so, he didn’t rush the consultation and advised me to look around a lot at other hospitals and make my decision from the heart. It was warm...(by my standards) The manager was just as dependable as in other reviews and explained everything very well. [Revision surgery] Silicone removal + correction of a deviated septum + lowering an upturned ear cartilage nose (reverse rotation technique?) + Megaderm dorsal augmentation (4-5 mm) I asked the doctor about Megaderm. "Megaderm has no inflammatory side effects." "About 30% gets absorbed; the shape does not change after one year." "Lumpiness is not a side effect, but a drawback." But among the reviews I saw here, there were cases of inflammatory side effects from Megaderm, and some people said 90% of the Megaderm was absorbed. There were also people whose noses became bulky because the Megaderm spread out, so I asked about that. He said, "If it gets absorbed, how can it spread and become bulky?" Was that like saying 1+1 equals 2.5?? Something like that, yeah.. The consultation itself was good and gave me confidence, but I’m scared of the material called Megaderm. They say there was deformation and absorption up to one year, and that after that there was nothing, but is that really true..? I also asked whether complete removal is possible, and they said it is. If anyone had revision surgery with Megaderm at GYOS, please share your review Even if it wasn’t Megaderm, I desperately want revision rhinoplasty reviews I’m really, really curious.. whether it will still be okay even after 1 year! And I also want to know whether the lumpiness is because it follows the line of my original nasal bone structure!!! The cost is just under five figures.
