Review of Natural Adhesion Double Eyelid Surgery + Upper Epicanthoplasty

<Before surgery><Before surgery><Day of surgery><Day 6, stitch removal><Day 13><Day 32>I had monolids, but at some point fine lines started forming, so I thought it would be better to get surgery than to end up with a strange double eyelid. So I looked into clinics! I didn’t want a factory-style clinic, so I avoided those as much as possible, and while looking for a director who would give a thorough consultation, I booked a consultation with Director Lee Han-byeol. On the day of the consultation, it started right away with no waiting time, and throughout the consultation the director was really kind and explained everything in detail. She explained my eye structure together with me, clearly told me what I didn’t need, and recommended doing a slight upper epicanthoplasty to make the line I wanted look a bit more open, so that’s what I had done! Especially, my eyes are asymmetrical in many ways.. The positions of my left and right brow bones are different, so she explained that my left eye would likely turn out well no matter what, but my right eye was different, so she would set the line according to the right side. I feel like I was able to learn in detail what kind of eye features I have during the consultation. I had heard that canthoplasty can change your impression, so I was worried, but the director said she would only do a slight opening, so I think that reassured me. Even when wrapping up the consultation, she asked first if I had any more questions, and I liked that it wasn’t a rushed consultation as if we were pressed for time. I could ask everything I was curious about, and the consultation proceeded at a relaxed pace! On the day of surgery as well, she marked the line very carefully three times in total: once in the consultation room, once while I was lying down in the operating room, and once while I was sitting up. During the surgery, she also repeatedly had me close and open my eyes, so I really trusted her. Right after surgery, there was some bruising around the canthoplasty area, but from the next day the bruising disappeared quickly. Rather, about a week after surgery, I got slight bruising near the outer corner of my right eye where there hadn’t been any originally, and I think that lasted a little long. The swelling was also on the lighter side considering it was right after surgery, and after the stitches were removed a week later, I think the swelling started going down faster. Rather than having a very specific eye shape I wanted, I only vaguely wanted something natural, but not an inner double eyelid, and about an in-out line. I don’t know how she created exactly the line I wanted,, she is truly the best! Especially because my eye sizes are asymmetrical, my brow bone positions are uneven, and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is close, I was a bit worried, but I’m so satisfied with the results that I feel like I worried for nothing! People around me also said it turned out well lololol. I really think it was such a relief that I had surgery here:)
