Eye Surgery Reviews

After my mom got middle-aged eye surgery, her impression looks much clearer...

As my mom got older, her eyelids started drooping, so her double eyelids came undone and her eyes gradually looked more heavy and closed-off. She hated taking photos and was really self-conscious whenever she went out... These days, she also kept hearing that her eyes looked tired, so she said it was very stressful. Since she was even considering surgery, I thought it would be good to go to consultations together, so I used one day of annual leave and went around to hospitals with her! We visited several places, but the reason we chose that clinic was because they had many eye surgery cases for middle-aged patients. Other clinics mostly had double-eyelid reviews from younger people, but this clinic had lots of review photos from people around my mom’s age, so it was realistically helpful to refer to~ Another thing I was worried about was that when people around my mom’s age get eye surgery, their impression can often end up looking too strong, you know? But during the consultation, Director Lee Moon-gi brought that up first, and he showed us photos of cases similar to my mom’s. They looked really natural, so I felt relieved! When my mom said she wanted her eyes to look clearer, the director recommended that medial epicanthoplasty + partial-incision double eyelid surgery + brow lift would be the best combination. It’s been about a month since the surgery now, and doesn’t her eye shape look much clearer? I’m glad she got the medial epicanthoplasty together too, because her eyes look more open and refreshed, and the sleepy-looking feeling is almost gone. My mom says she feels like she looks about 20 years younger, and she’s happy every time she looks in the mirror, so I feel proud too haha. These days, she even enjoys getting ready to go out, so I really think deciding on the surgery was the right choice!
