Eye Re-Surgery

One-month progress report after revision eye surgery

I went for my one-month progress check after revision eye surgery today Revision eye surgery progress consultation - The ptosis correction seems slightly uneven => For now, it is still swelling, and your left eye originally had weak opening strength. Looking at the surgical record, they did correct it a bit more. Let’s keep watching the progress - The eyelid lines look a bit different => It has only been one month, and swelling originally goes down differently on each side. This will also get better with time - The epicanthoplasty is subtly different (the left side is smooth and slightly downward, while the right side feels a bit wrinkled? and cut forward.. But even to me, this is not that noticeable) => Slightly..? It does look that way. It could be swelling, but if it is the same when you come back after 6 months, I will touch up the epicanthoplasty again That is the answer I got. The director who operated on me left because he is opening his own clinic, so the chief director did my one-month follow-up. Even though he was not the one who performed the surgery, he checked carefully while looking at the surgical record and the before-and-after photos, so I liked that. And I was grateful that he evaluated the epicanthoplasty honestly too.. He explained why it looks wrinkled, and it did make sense. Still, since he said they would do an aftercare revision after 6 months, I’m going to stay at ease
