Eye Re-Surgery

If you want posterior and lower canthoplasty, please read this post.. (lower canthoplasty restoration…

<After posterior and lower canthoplasty went wrong><Day 3 after restoration surgery><One week><2 weeks><One month><Two months><Two months><Two months before and after surgery>I’m writing this because I sincerely hope everyone who is considering posterior and lower canthoplasty (or who already has complications) won’t make the same foolish mistake I did. I thought that if I got canthoplasty, I would definitely look prettier and things would get better, but the result was that it was opened too much. The outer part of my eyes was ruined, as if someone had forcibly stretched it. Indentation under the eyes + the line became strange + my eyelashes poked my eyes, so tears kept streaming down. After getting posterior and lower canthoplasty, I was so stressed that I was afraid to look people in the eye, almost like social avoidance. After thinking about it, I felt I shouldn’t delay any longer, so I had restoration surgery. The shape was one thing, but the worst part was the eyelashes poking my eyes. The fixation under the canthoplasty was too strong, so all my eyelashes curled inward toward my eyes, and even when I stayed still, they poked my cornea. When I went to an ophthalmologist, they said there were already many wounds. It was severe enough to interfere with daily life, so I decided I couldn’t go on like that anymore and chose surgery. During the consultation, the director seemed to think it was hopeless too and said the fixation was too severe. And it wasn’t even the same on both sides; they said the right side was worse. Seriously.. haha, I didn’t even know that and just lived with it.. Because the canthoplasty failed, I even had to get entropion correction, and to match the asymmetry in my eyes lol I really talked with the director alone for over 30 minutes. I didn’t think deeply about the surgery and rushed into it, and it came back to hit me hard. Restoration is hard during recovery too. It’s hard because of what you can see with your eyes, but I think the anxiety inside makes it feel even more difficult and overwhelming. It’s been over two months, and it seems to be gradually healing more naturally, so I feel a bit relieved. The best thing is that I no longer have any discomfort ... Because my eyelashes were really poking my eyes, tears kept streaming down, and when I washed my face, my eyelashes poked my eyes so much that I couldn’t even wash properly. It was so hard. When having restoration surgery, I think I judged everything, like whether they had expertise and whether they accurately explained the method for revision surgery. When I had canthoplasty, I didn’t even know these kinds of complications could happen, and I got it done at a big hospital without thinking much.. I really hope everyone doesn’t experience complications like mine.. AS and aftercare are all good. But the surgery itself has to be done well first. Don’t just rush into it because you’re tempted by pretty reviews or the price. I hope you first find a hospital that is good at the surgery itself. Especially if you want canthoplasty, study the surgical method a lot before you go.
