Eye Re-Surgery

Review of double eyelid surgery at ㅍ ㅅㅎㅇㄱ

<Double eyelid surgery review photo>First surgery in December 2023, second revision surgery in January 2024 I had these 4 things done: double eyelid surgery (inline) + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + fat removal, and I had monolids + ptosis + eyes with a lot of eye fat. First of all, since it's a famous place, it inevitably felt like a factory-style clinic. During the consultation, I consulted directly with the doctor who would perform the surgery. (I don't remember which doctor I remember it was the one with the most reviews and who was extremely busy.) There was no pressure to add extra procedures or anything like that, and the consultation was carried out with a suitable line matched to my eyes. But it felt like they only answered when I asked questions first? They didn't proactively ask me questions or anything. In the operating room, they did mark the line very carefully, enough that it took 20-30 minutes. But for eyes like mine with ptosis + a lot of eye fat, you need ptosis correction so the double eyelid doesn't come undone and lasts long. At the time, I didn't know that and only proceeded with double eyelid surgery, you know? But what bothers me is that when I said I was only doing double eyelid surgery, they didn't mention ptosis correction at all and just proceeded. Why didn't they tell me.. That really bothers me. In the end, in less than 2 months, the double eyelid came undone and I had revision surgery. When I told the doctor, they did the revision surgery for free. To sum it up, it was a surgery that wasn't particularly good or bad. It's not to the level of “I'm definitely going back here!” And as you can see in the photo below, it's been 1 year since the second surgery, but it has become almost like a hidden double eyelid. If anyone is going to do it, I recommend setting the initial line a little higher than the line you want.
