I had nose surgery in October, so I’m entering my 3rd month. My nose was slightly upturned and had a lot of flesh on it, so they used silicone, used septal cartilage, and did the nasal tip with ear cartilage. They said it would take a long time for the nose to come down and for the swelling in the nasal tip to go down, both the consultant and the director. I couldn’t sleep, so I went into a community and searched a bit and read posts, and what is this -_- Someone had left a review, saying that nasal swelling is basically determined within 1 month after the cast comes off, and if it is still blunt and does not go down after 1 month, it is not swelling but scar tissue .......... When I wake up it gets hard like a rock, and by evening it gets soft, and they said if it gets hard and blunt, it is not swelling but scar tissue. It is so similar to my current symptoms ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ At the hospital, they said it is because it is cold and the muscles are contracting -_- They said it would soften and come down ㅠㅠ They say doctors all call scar tissue swelling and lie that it will go down after 6 months or 1 year. My nose is still upturned ㅠㅠ and my nostrils are uneven too ㅠㅠ The day before yesterday it was extremely cold outside, and my nose almost froze. When I got home, it was bright red, and when I touched my nose today it was completely like a rock -_- Sigh, I really don’t know what is correct. I’m so frustrated ㅠㅠ
