Day 12 after V-line surgery...^^ After surgery, I was physically pretty exhausted and completely knocked out, but now I’m slowly recovering. For those with surgery coming up, please build up your stamina a lot beforehand~...~ I started researching at the beginning of this year for V-line surgery, read pretty much every review I could find, thought it over a lot in my own way, chose a hospital, and decided on surgery. This time I really felt deeply that with cosmetic surgery, it’s important to research properly and go with a hospital with good reviews, and especially that the doctor’s skill and experience matter the most. Everyone who has had V-line surgery will relate, but the initial swelling is really no joke and it hurts a lot, so for a few days after surgery I was just dazed.. I didn’t even feel happy that I’d had the surgery.. But after about a week?? as just a tiny..bit of the swelling went down (still a long way to go), when I looked in the mirror, at least a human face was showing and the line was taking shape, so I started to feel the before/after difference little by little. Only then did I think, I’m glad I had the surgery, like going from hell to heaven?? Anyway, I think I went through a lot of emotional changes. I think you all should avoid looking in the mirror for a while after surgery. Letting time solve it seems the wisest and best way. I did mine at ㅇㄸ, and first of all, the doctor and the nurse unnies treated me so, so well, so I felt much more emotionally stable. It wasn’t a totally square jaw, but the bone protruding under the ear.. made my face look angular from the front and less refined? Maybe because it felt rough, my overall facial line looked unorganized. I didn’t want a completely sharp V; I wanted a line from my current chin that fell smoothly, and in the end it seems to have turned out exactly how I wanted, so I’m relieved. A chin that is too pointy can also look a bit artificial, so I was actually worried about that, but the doctor understood what I wanted and did it well. My jaw is still a bit numb and tingling, and of course there is still a lot of swelling, but I really like the side profile that I can catch glimpses of, kekeke....~~~ Since V-line surgery is a surgery where that slight, subtle change can completely change the feel of the face, I think it’s important to consult well with the doctor when you have surgery. I hope you all keep this in mind and that it helps somehow. I’m planning to upload photos after about a month. I’ll take them at a nice angle and upload them prettily. lol
