I had cheekbone surgery. First, starting with the consultation review. Cons: It is expensive compared with other hospitals. For me, the waiting time was extremely long. They basically contacted me around the time I had almost forgotten about it. Pros: You gain a perspective that lets you look at what your own face is like objectively. There is a lot of debate about numerical analysis, but I personally think this style of consultation, where they explain based on objective grounds what improvements can come from receiving certain surgeries, is much more right than doctors who operate only by intuition. Everyone’s aesthetic standards vary widely, and in the end, the person choosing the surgery is yourself. Whether the face is short or long, specifically which parts are long or short, what the asymmetry is like, what the three-dimensionality is like, whether surgery will have an effect or not, and so on. Ultimately, I think studying it yourself, thinking about it for a long time according to your own aesthetic standards, and deciding for yourself is the only way to maximize the effect of cosmetic surgery. I’m not disparaging doctors, but rather than being swayed by what certain doctors say and passively dragged along, I think it is much better to have an active attitude of clearly defining the problem you want to solve and trying to solve it through the doctor. The remote consultation was a good guide for that. After all, you know your own face best. You are also the one ultimately responsible for every judgment. Surgery review: Cons: It seriously hurt so much I thought I was going to die ㅠ Other people said it didn’t hurt, but it hurt so much that I went to the emergency room about two days later… (with taxi fare and ER costs, it came to about 500,000 won, so I basically became someone who paid 6 million won for surgery) At that moment, I really just kept sighing, wondering what kind of glory I expected to gain by getting cheekbone surgery… The swelling too, my face was swollen tight, and I looked like someone who had eaten about 30 hamburgers at the same time. I really never imagined it would swell this much… Ah, of course, I walked as if I were doing a cross-country march, so now at one week it has gone down quite a bit. The swelling was worst on day 2. Pros: The surgical effect is good. It has been about a week since surgery now, and I can already feel that the lateral cheekbones have gone in. I have almost no 45-degree cheekbones and mostly just lateral cheekbones, so (in the remote consultation, I confirmed that my cheekbones were wide compared with my head shape) I considered several surgical methods, and I just decided by process of elimination. I’m satisfied. Quick cheekbone surgery simply didn’t fit my beliefs. (I didn’t want to test out, for a moment’s convenience, the face I will carry for life.) My 45-degree area was already flat, so if bone shaving were added, cheek sagging could occur, and among the hospitals that do bone shaving, there wasn’t any hospital where I liked everything by the end of the consultation. Some hospitals seemed to have too little effect, and at another hospital, the left cheekbone was clearly larger numerically, but they said the right cheekbone was bigger so they would reduce it more… (???) Most hospitals felt a bit off, so in the end I entrusted it to Director Baek. Of course, I watched all the videos related to cheekbone surgery (surgical method, side effects, etc.) and decided because I thought it suited me. To explain the star ratings: Kindness: He is kind. It doesn’t feel forced, and he is approachable. But if I give all 5 points, it somehow looks like I was paid to write this, so I’ll give 4 points (sorry sorry) Consultation expertise: But for both remote and in-person consultations, perhaps because I proceeded with the consultation after already confirming surgery, the in-person consultation was just short and ended quickly. I wrote this based on the remote consultation. Of course, I think I should give a higher score to a place that provides objective numerical analysis than other hospitals that just say their own opinions that I’m not even 1 bit curious about, or explain things based on their own aesthetic sense and brain-generated assumptions, so I give 5 points. Staff kindness: They were kind, but somehow if I give everything 5 points it looks like I was paid to write this, so I just deducted one. Hospital facilities: Among all the private clinics I’ve seen, it was on the quite good side lol. But the waiting room was a little disappointing? Ah, but if you include the CT and printer costs, it would be 5 points…. Just the waiting room was a bit disappointing. Surgery expectations: I am satisfied, but the swelling has not all gone down yet, and it feels a bit early to make a final conclusion, so I gave 4 points. I could just write it later, but I think I’ll forget later, so I’m writing it first. Conclusion: Definitely try getting a remote consultation, and I hope you think about it for a long time based on the relevant video. For cheekbone surgery, he reduces lateral cheekbones effectively and definitively without making it excessive. As for the 45-degree cheekbones, I didn’t really have them to begin with, so I don’t know. Later, after more time passes, I’ll also revise the post a bit with progress updates.

RU gave me the highest quote. First, I think the clinic had a brown-toned interior! I was really lucky to get a same-day canceled consultation slot, so I went in for a consultation. There was no waiting at all, and the consultant was kind t
