I had so little cheek fat that even though my cheekbones weren't that protruding, my face looked as if my cheekbones were protruding, so I had fat grafting. Originally, I thought my cheekbones were protruding, so I went for a cheekbone consultation, but they said it was because I had no cheek fat that my cheekbones looked that way, and that they were not severely protruding cheekbones. I was also very burdened by the idea of cheekbone surgery, and although I had heard of fat grafting surgery, it was a surgery I didn't properly know about. Only after going to the hospital did I find out that fat grafting was the right surgery for me, and because they said I didn't need cheekbone surgery, I breathed a sigh of relief and had this fat grafting surgery. I did worry a bit because they say that after fat grafting, the fat placed in the face gets absorbed, but there is also a second injection, and I did it with the hope that I could become prettier. Right now, maybe because it's day 3, I'm very swollen. I'm more swollen today than yesterday. While doing the cheeks, my forehead was also on the flat side, so I had fat placed in the forehead too, and also in the anterior chin. I hadn't even thought about the anterior chin, but during the consultation, the director who performed the surgery said that I also had a slight retruded chin tendency, so it would be good to put fat into the anterior chin too, so I had it put into the anterior chin as well. The flaws in my face that I didn't know about before, when I had never received consultations and such, I learned for the first time while having this surgery, so I was surprised. Right now, because of the swelling, my face has become puffy, and even I think it looks a bit funny. When I first looked in the mirror right after surgery, my forehead and cheeks were plump, and my anterior chin also came forward slightly, my facial image changed completely, and I really, really liked it. I looked much, much younger than before surgery and was satisfied. I'm swollen now, but if the swelling goes down to how it looked right after surgery, I think I'll be very satisfied. (Now, maybe because I'm swollen, my eyes look smaller. My eyes were on the large side, but they look squashed.) I had fat taken from my thigh, and my thigh is still stiff and painful. I'm not sure about the operated face, but my thigh hurts quite a lot. There is some bruising too..
