Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had surgery today! (No photos)

I had surgery today.. It was at 10:30 in the morning. First of all, my nasal tip was really different from other people's.. Even the doctors, at all 3 places where I had consultations, said the nasal tip area was the key issue, so I had 3 things done: mainly the nasal tip, plus the nasal bridge and nostril reduction. Since I had been reading reviews in a community, I was a little less nervous, but still, surgery is surgery, so I had strange dreams and kept waking up at dawn..ㅡㅡ Anyway, I went to the hospital alone, and when I arrived, they guided me toward the recovery room, told me to leave my belongings there, and gave me clothes to change into. At this point, you wash your face and gargle. Then I changed clothes, paid, and had the final consultation with the doctor. He kept telling me not to be nervous. Then they took me to something like a treatment room and did something like disinfection. Someone in a review said the disinfection hurt, but it just felt a bit unpleasant and was okay. I go to ENT clinics often, and it was about that level.. They sprayed medicine once or twice and put a small stick-like thing into each nostril, and the doctor said the sensation inside my nose would become dull.. After that, I moved to the operating room.. Once I actually lay down on the bed, I was 100% nervous.. gasp..ㅠㅠ The nurse said that once I was under sedation, my sleeping habits might come out, so they tied my legs, and they gave me one injection, an IV? Anyway, through that they added some medicine to suppress saliva and runny nose so too much wouldn't come out. For reference, my period wasn't completely over, so I think they also added some hemostatic agent? After that, they trimmed my nose hairs.. Many people said this hurt too, and the nurse said it might sting, but maybe because of the thing they did during disinfection to dull the sensation, it didn't sting at all. Just the sound, whirr~ whirr~ Finally the doctor appeared.. tada~~ He told me it would go well and drew on my nose.. on my forehead, nasal tip, nasal ala, places like that. Then they said they would administer the anesthetic.. Many people said sedation feels like riding a roller coaster, but I didn't feel it.. I wanted to feel it..ㅠㅠ;; They originally said I would sleep until the surgery was all finished, but I woke up while they were suturing the nasal ala.. It stung then, so I whined that it hurt, and they kept saying it was almost over but wouldn't finish, so I got annoyed..ㅡㅡ After they finished the taping (anyway, I had woken from anesthesia but was scared, so I kept my eyes closed..), they said it was over, and the nurse helped me sit up, I drank some water (my throat felt like it was burning up..) and moved to the recovery room.. A close older coworker came for me, and she said that from the recovery room she could hear the surgery sounds, and maybe because I was moving a lot, the doctor snapped, 'Stop moving!' in an irritated voice.. I don't remember..ㅡㅡ;; I rested a bit in the lounge, used an ice pack while resting, was told when to come for treatments, and listened to instructions for home care before leaving. Other hospitals use something like a cast, so bruising moves up toward the forehead, but here they told me to gently press the nose from the glabella to the nasal ala with two fingers to keep draining blood. Once every 30 minutes to 1 hour. They said that way swelling is reduced and bruising is reduced too. I asked if the shape wouldn't get distorted, and they said it's okay because I'm touching the cotton.. At first the nurse did it for me, and I must have looked worried because it seemed a bit painful, so she said if I don't do it because it hurts, the doctor will do it really hard at the first disinfection tomorrow, so I'm working hard on it at home now.. When I press the nasal ala, a lot of blood really comes out. The nasal bridge was raised 3 mm with Gore-Tex, the nasal tip was done with septal cartilage, and the nasal ala was tied.. If I get a chance to take photos, I'll try taking some.. Drinking water is hard because my nose is blocked.. And then again
