I’m already leaving a review at 10 months post-op! Time really feels like it’s flying by haha. Before, each day felt so long, but now I’m so happy every time I look in the mirror that I lose track of time :) I still vividly remember when I first decided to have surgery. Since I was young, I was really stressed because of malocclusion and facial asymmetry. During my school years, I always covered my jaw with my hair, and I was even afraid to take off my COVID mask. So before it got any later, I decided to have double jaw surgery because I wanted to regain both my face and my confidence! I was really careful when choosing a hospital. Now that 10 months have passed, I honestly can barely remember my old face. When I tied my hair up and went out for the first time, my friends told me I had become so pretty, and I was really touched :) My family also says I’ve changed so much that they might not recognize me if they saw me passing by now. Before, chewing was uncomfortable and I was very stressed because of my mouth shape, but now I can eat all kinds of food without restrictions, and I have no discomfort or side effects at all! Not only my appearance but also my daily life has become much more comfortable, and my self-esteem has gone way up, so these days I’m always living with a smile haha.
