Phew, I had surgery on Monday and went today, 3 days later, to get the tape removed Not being able to wash my hair during that time was really hard... phew First, I’d like to offer a small word of thanks to dry shampoo..
I’ve had almost no pain since the day of surgery Right now, the area where they took the ear cartilage is completely bruised dark blue, but the areas where the ear cartilage and temporalis fascia were harvested only throb occasionally and don’t hurt much I felt so fine from the day of surgery that I got all my work done and spent the day productively ;-; When I told them today while removing the tape that it really didn’t hurt, the nurse said I might just be the type who handles surgery well lol
It’s my first nose surgery, so I’m not sure whether it’s my constitution or what.. but I do think it’s because this surgical method has very few incision sites Right now the bridge of my nose is a bit thickly swollen and the nasal tip is also lifted, but I still don’t think it looks too awkward, so from today I went straight to a cafe and walked around without a mask
It’s not like I’m naturally someone who doesn’t swell, either I took the medicine the clinic gave me properly, occasionally used cold compresses, drank pumpkin juice 3 times a day, massaged my face a bit with a gua sha, and took 30-minute walks, about that much? That’s what I did Anyway, somehow the surgery ended more simply than I expected and it barely hurt, so it’s fascinating
But because of that, I don’t think the before-and-after difference will be dramatic lol It’s only been 3 days and it’s already like this.. Once all the swelling goes down, I really don’t think there will be a huge difference My mom was originally against me getting my nose done, but after seeing it today, she said, “Why did you even do it if it was going to be like this?” lol She said people probably won’t know unless I tell them first
The photos are in order: before - day of surgery - today (3 days post-op), but comparing them, there is still some difference I wanted to have a cute nose, so I really like the current shape I hope that later, when I smile, it doesn’t spread out and the nasal tip stays gathered like it is now
I got a lot of help from lurking in this community, so I’m writing one too lol CoGelCo is a method where cartilage is minced and then mixed with fibrin components from the blood before being placed on the nose I didn’t want an implant, and the reviews I saw here all looked so natural that it seemed good There have been quite a lot of posts about it lately, so I suspected they might be promotional posts, but I think it’s because the director used to do it at another clinic, then opened his own last year, changed the name, and patented it
I also received an event discount this time on the condition that I post a review, but they told me to post it on another app and cafe, not here This board wasn’t counted as a review board..! Why..? Anyway!! I wanted to say this isn’t an event promo post or anything like that, but a real review hehe
The downside(?) of this surgical method is that because the cartilage is minced and placed, it seems to get absorbed a bit more So the downside may be that the before-and-after difference might not be big
It really hasn’t been long for me yet either, but I’d recommend it to people who are hesitant about surgery that looks very obvious But I don’t recommend it for people who want a really defined, glamorous, sophisticated nose like Karina’s
Anyway, thank you so much to this community hehe I’ll keep watching the progress a bit more and leave another review!
